Practicing for Heaven Book Review...

David hates practicing piano. He's frustrated by how hard it is and all the mistakes he makes. With his mom's help, he comes to understand how that's all part of the learning process. She also uses the moment to help David comprehend more about the Atonement: Christ has paid the price so that we can learn and improve. We aren't earning our way to heaven—we're practicing for it, and Christ is willing to help us every step of the way.

Practicing for Heaven also includes teachings tips for parents who wish to teach children of all ages about the Savior's Atonement and grace.

My review:

I am so in love with this book! I liked the part when David said it's hard being like Jesus. His mom said, what if I thought being a mom was too hard? I've made too many mistakes so I should just give up? Do you think I should quit? David said, No. You can't quit!

What a beautifully written story. It is perfect for children to understand and also powerful for adults as well. The pictures are tender and filled with sweet emotion. What a blessing to know we have a loving Savior that helps us as we are all practicing for Heaven. My family loves this book and highly recommends it!
