Living Scriptures Giveaway...

Just the other day my husband and I were reminiscing about the old movie, "Nephi and the Brass Plates" by Living Scriptures.  In both our families, while growing up, watching it was a favorite Family Home Evening activity.

My husband said something really interesting about it that stuck with me. He said, "I knew the story of Nephi backwards and forwards because of that movie. I knew it better than any of the other scriptures."

I think that, alone, is a fabulous reason to have these movies; to expose your children at an early age to the scriptures.  He's right, that is how I have come to know these stories, learned to love them, and WANT to read them in the scriptures.

Did you know that Living Scriptures is celebrating the 25th anniversary of "Nephi and the Brass Plates"?  They have been digitally remastered and restored and look FABULOUS.  Now is the opportunity to help your children create these memories and share a love of the scriptures.
