HOP film release Book Review and Giveaway...

I was excited to review some books from the movie HOP.

My 16 month old girl LOVED the  Hoppy Bunnies book. I have honestly never seen her laugh so hard in my entire life. Every time I wiggled those bunnies with my fingers she CRACKED UP.  I wanted to take them to church for quiet books--but I think she enjoys this one too much.  She also loves to read Counting Chicks.

My three year old son especially enjoyed the picture books: Meet the Easter Bunny and Chicks vs. Bunnies.  They are perfect for his reading/attention level and are helping us get very excited for the movies! We read them every night.

There is also a great chapter book, HOP, which is based on the movie. It would be a hit with elementary age children, especially after they fall in love with the movie!

I am VERY excited about taking my kids to see the movie HOP--especially after seeing how fun these books are.  Here is some more about the movie and books.

Synopsis:

Blending state of the art animation with live action, Hop is a comedy about E.B. (voiced by Russell Brand), the teenage son of the Easter Bunny.  On the eve of taking over the family business, E.B. leaves for Hollywood in pursuit of his dream of becoming a drummer.  He encounters Fred (James Marsden), an out-of-work slacker with his own lofty goals, who accidentally hits E.B. with his car.  Feigning injury, E.B. manipulates Fred into providing him shelter, and Fred finds himself with the world’s worst houseguest.

The film is helmed by Tim Hill, director of the blockbuster Alvin and the Chipmunks and produced by Chris Meledandri’s Illumination Entertainment (Despicable Me).
