I just got through reading The Complete Idiot's Guide to Adult ADHD! This book is great for those with ADHD or those who know some one with ADHD! Read a simple explanation of what ADHD looks like in adults. Find age-specific strategies for managing ADHD in your daily life. Great tips and an easy to read book that's very helpful. A thorough examination of a misunderstood condition.
Though it's traditionally thought of as a childhood disorder, a growing body of research is bringing awareness to the fact that ADHD often continues into adulthood, though its symptoms often take on a different form and make the disorder more difficult to diagnose.

About the Author...
Eileen Bailey is a writer and community leader for websites relating to mental illness and learning disabilities. Currently, she is a lead writer/expert/community leader for ADHDCentral.com, a site produced by HealthCentral.com, and runs the website ADDHelpline with her husband. Donald Haupt, M.D. is a psychiatrist who has been treating adults with ADHD for more than 15 years. He also treats and is familiar with many of the common coexisting conditions presented in adults with ADHD, such as anxiety, OCD, and depression.

I would like this book. My son has ADHD, but not the hyper version,he has the hypo version. That means he has a hard time alerting himself. This never gets talked about.

I raised a daughter with ADHD....before there was a lot of info on it. Very interesting...found she preformed better without dairy, and sweets were only for weekends. She is still experiencing difficulties in her adult life, and I think this book will really help her in coping and dealing, and more importantly understanding this condition! Thank you for hosting this book giveaway.
It is good that more people are beginning to recognize and understand the difficulty that ADHD people experience. (Drugs did not help my daughter, it made symptoms worse, so she has gone solo all along)
